Pro Series LAN Adapters
Pro Series LAN adapters include PMC format ethernet cards that provide options for 1, 2, or 4 fast ethernet ports, and 1 or 2 gigabit ethernet ports. Pro Series LAN cards can be installed in Pro Series routers using three different methods: (1) mounting on a system board that provides PMC mounting sites, (2) mounting on a PMC carrier card, or (3) mounting on a packet processing card that provides PMC sites.
ImageStream offers 1, 2, and 4 port 10/100 ethernet cards for use with Pro Series routers. Each ethernet card provides a CPCI or PMC bus interface, and can be installed in any available CPCI slot or PMC site. PMC sites may be provided by the router's system board, a PMC carrier, or a packet processor.
ImageStream also offers 1 and 2 port gigabit ethernet cards for use with Pro Series routers. Each ethernet card provides a PMC bus interface, and can be installed in any available PMC site. PMC sites may be provided by the router's system board, a PMC carrier, or a packet processor.
For monitoring applications, ImageStream offers an ethernet tap that can be used to transparently monitor a 10/100 ethernet line. The 10/100 tap includes ethernet ports for input and output, and relays that pass through the ethernet signal even when the router is powered off.
