PCI 431-TE

PCI 431-TE

The PCI 431-TE is ImageStream's lowest-cost single port T1/E1 adapter for WAN and Internet routing applications. The 431-TE is a PCI 2.1 compliant adapter that can terminate fractional and full T1 or E1 circuits. ImageStream's Industrial Series routers provide the standard software distribution that is required to configure the card for fractional or full T1 or E1 operation.

The 431-TE uses a fully integrated design that leverages the low-cost Intel 21140 to provide an MII to PCI bus interface. The Xilinx XC3000 FPGA is used to interface the Conexant 8370 LIU to the MII interface on the 21140.

The 431-TE provides a 32-bit 33 MHz PCI bus interface that supports both 3.3 and 5 volt signaling systems. The 431-TE hardware supports async, bisync, and SDLC/HDLC protocols with a low-latency PCI interface that can burst into host memory at more than 200 Mbps.
