Industrial Series Router Platform
Industrial Series routers represent ImageStream's lowest cost and most popular product platform. The Industrial Series uses ImageStream Linux and PCI network cards to build the industry's lowest cost routers for OC12/STM4, OC3/STM1, DS3/E3/J2, and high-density T1/E1/J1 applications.
Industrial Series routers share a common line of PCI network cards. This means that a customer who buys a T1 card for a CPE chassis can migrate that card into an edge or core router chassis if needed. This approach reduces the amount of inventory a manufacturer must carry to support a wider range of applications, and it provides more flexible hardware configuration options for the end user.
All Industrial Series routers can use the same ImageStream Linux router distribution. As a result, developers can design applications for one Industrial Series chassis, and deploy the application across all chassis. This approach helps to minimize technical support requirements by leveraging a single platform for multiple products. In addition, end users benefit from the ability to learn a single platform that allows them to deploy a wide range of premise, edge, and core routing applications.
Industrial Series routers include the TransPort, R1, Rebel, Gateway, and Enterprise. Off-the-shelf configurations of these systems provide a wide range capabilities in terms of processor power, card expansion, form factor, power supplies, and environmental specifications. In addition, ImageStream can customize any of these standard configurations, or custom-build a complete solution to satisfy unique requirements.
Some OEMs may require the entire range of Industrial Series router configurations to address their customers' needs. Some will only need a single chassis that is optimized for their specific application. And others will demand a totally custom hardware configuration. ImageStream is equipped to serve all of these expectations, including the provision of branding services to get your company's logo and product name screen printed on the finished product.

The Enterprise Product Platform
The Enterprise is a rackmount 14-slot 5U chassis with hot-swap cooling fans and a dual input redundant 350W AC power supply. The standard off-the-shelf configuration includes a dual XEON single board computer and four PCI-X buses that support a total of 32 Gbps aggregate bus throughput. The chassis can also be configured with different processor cards and passive backplanes to accommodate less demanding applications.

The Gateway Product Platform
The Gateway is a 14-slot 4U rackmount chassis that offers a wide range of optional processor cards, passive backplanes, and power supplies. The Gateway provides options for single and dual processors, and it offers many different power supply options including single AC, single DC, redundant AC, and redundant DC supplies.

The Rebel Product Platform
The Rebel is a 10" deep 1U rackmount chassis that includes an embedded Celeron/PIII main board, two 10/100 ethernet ports, and two PCI slots. The Rebel provides wire-speed performance with circuits speeds up to DS3/E3, and it offers a DC power supply option.

The R1 Product Platform
The R1 is a small chassis with two PCI slots. It supports different processor cards including a fanless SBC for extended temperature operation, and it offers a DC power supply option. The R1 also provides a high level of installation flexibility with support for set-top, wallmount, and rackmount installation.

The TransPort Product Platform
The TransPort is a compact set-top chassis with an embedded VIA C3 processor, three 10/100 ethernet ports, and one 32-bit 33 MHz PCI slot. The TransPort provides a low-cost solution for entry-level routing applications that require advanced features and wire-speed performance.
