High-Density Ethernet Taps
ImageStream's high-density (HD) passive 10/100 ethernet taps are designed to provide a non-intrusive solution for monitoring a large number of ethernet interfaces in a compact space. ImageStream's HD taps come in a 1U rackmount form factor with options for 8, 12, 16, or 20 ethernet taps per chassis.
The chassis features redundant AC power supplies that support universal voltage input. The HD taps include two independent AC power connections that provide "no-loss" failover when one of the power sources is interrupted. The HD taps also provide line pass-through capabilities that maintain network integrity when all power is removed. In addition, HD taps provide link and activity lights to provide a front panel status information for each link.
