3U PMC Carrier Card
ImageStream offers a 3U carrier card to deploy its PMC cards in standard 3U CompactPCI applications. The 3U carrier card provides one PMC site that supports both 32 and 64 bit PMC modules.
ImageStream's 3U carrier card is designed to function as a transparent extension of the PCI bus. This means that the carrier card does not use a PCI-to-PCI bridge, but instead connects the PCI bus directly to the PMC card's PCI bus.
ImageStream's 3U carrier card is designed to ensure signal integrity by enforcing specifications for PCI bus impedance, noise, and trace length limits. Jumpers can be installed to enable 66 MHz mode, and to set PCI PRSNT and PMC BUSMODE.
